With regard to the new Albion stadium and John Prescott, is it not time the people of Brighton and Hove started to flex their own political muscle?

Mr Prescott's reluctance to make a decision leaves one to believe he has already decided against but will not announce it until the best political time, i.e. after an election.

With the European elections upon us it is within our power to send a message to Westminster that we are not prepared to accept any more delays in what should have been a local decision in the first place.

I urge The Argus and all Labour voters to boycott southern European Parliament Labour candidates.

Imagine the message we would send to the politicians. What effect would that have if it was carried over to a general election? Multiply our not voting by the number of other constituencies awaiting similar decisions and suddenly the politicians will take notice since power is the only thing they are interested in.

The new stadium is within our grasp. All we have to do is stand up and not be counted.
