It's a weird world we live in. We associate Easter as a time to remember Jesus Christ, his sacrifice and resurrection. We also associate Easter as a time of celebrating life.

Is it not therefore hypocritical that we have to listen to the constant shooting of various birds and rabbits over the Easter weekend.

I have never understood why the human race enjoys killing living creatures. We are supposed to be the more intelligent of the species -

I don't think so. It is too easy for anyone to get hold of a gun.

Spring is a time for new life - why don't these gunmen and women go home and make love not blood lust.
