May I thank Gillian Marston (assistant director of CityClean).
For years my refuse collection day has been Thursday and, glory be, now I receive a letter notifying me that there would be a "Refuse Collection Day Change" to Thursday.
The letter further suggested I should remember I should be recycling.
I recycle as much as possible at my own expense and through choice. I have no choice about paying council tax yet the council sees fit to waste part of my contribution in this risible manner.
