The Carphone Warehouse plans to open six shops in Sussex over the next 12 months.
One will open in Bognor in April and further sites are being sought in Brighton, Hove, Crawley, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath and Hastings.
More than 30 jobs will be created.
The company wants a mixture of units on retail parks and arterial routes and in high streets and shopping centres.
