Worthing assistant manager Danny Bloor believes the loan signings of Daryl Plummer and Andy Ducille show the club is ambitious.
Both players made their debuts in a goalless draw at Bromley which leaves Rebels seventh in division one south.
Plummer, a former England youth international, has signed for a month from League side Southend. Ducille has joined from Eastbourne Borough.
Bloor said: "We have had injury problems so it was important to bring players in but we didn't want just anyone.
"We haven't got people from lower divisions to make up the numbers. Both have played at a high level and are quality which shows the kind of players we are looking to bring to the club."
