On my last visit to Brighton I was pleasantly surprised to find a definite change of attitude from retailers.
WH Smith and Breddons bookshops went out of their way to locate titles for me.
Audrey's Chocolates in the East Street Arcade, the Travel Centre at Old Steine, the Rail Travel Centre, Marks & Spencers, Woolworths and the Co-op all showed me great courtesy.
It might be because I look like more of a senior citizen than when I last visited but, whatever the reason, I am most impressed by the turn-around.
