Richie Reynolds is not getting carried away despite guiding struggling Selsey to their second win in five days in County League division one.

An impressive win at home to eighth-placed Ringmer lifted Selsey to third from bottom.

Reynolds, who took over two weeks ago, said: "It's very pleasing but we are still in the bottom three.

"We have got to keep working hard and keep trying to play attractive football. If you work hard and play football, the results look after themselves."

Dominic Shepherd put Ringmer ahead but goals from debutant Danny Horrell, Mark Lee and a Paul Lee brace secured victory for the hosts.

Reynolds said: "I have changed the way we play. We are starting to knock the ball around, we have a little bit of quality in the side and they are starting to believe in themselves.

"Before I came here they were used to getting a hiding. I am amazed at the turnaround in two weeks."
