A drama series about a sex therapist's complicated love life has led to prime time TV exposure for a Brighton fashion label.

Actress Julie Graham chose to wear a £215 dress designed by North Laine-based label Simultane for ITV1 clips promoting her new series, Between The Sheets.

The Brighton actress models the black wrap dress in one of the short clips, which feature the channel's top stars posing in front of blue-and-yellow backgrounds.

Julie plays the central character of the sex therapist in the series written by Kay Mellor, which was broadcast for the first time last night.

Co-stars include Oscar-nominated actress Brenda Blethyn, former Coronation Street star Gaynor Faye and veteran comic Norman Wisdom.

Simultane, in Trafalgar Street, was founded 18 months ago by co-directors Simon Beales, Amanda Sullivan and Sarah Arnett.

Mr Beales said: "It has been quite exciting to see one of our outfits featured on national TV. Julie has been very supportive and seems to really love our clothes."

Julie previously starred in the ITV drama At Home With The Braithwaites.
