How dare the British Red Cross even consider banning nativity scenes and advent calendars depicting the true meaning of Christmas from its shops (The Argus, November 12) "for fear of offending minority faiths"?
If people of minority faiths choose to live in a mainly Christian country, they should not be offended by our traditional celebrations of the birth of Jesus.
If some of us Christians went to live in Israel, we wouldn't be offended if we found all the shops and businesses were closed on the Sabbath. We would respect their beliefs.
For God's (whoever he may be) sake, let's stop this stupidity before it leads to more serious implications.
This over-zealous political correctness actually leads to the very racial conflict they are trying to avoid.
