The Pleasure Island is a fabulous idea but one must remember that we often have bad weather here so having a sea and air link would not work.
The island would only work if it had a bridge or an underground tunnel.
Linking it with a new pier would probably be the best idea - then we wouldn't need to restore the West Pier.
The much-required sewage works could also be incorporated within its substructure.
