I agree with Norman Baker MP that Christmas is being spoiled by extending it and making it a commercial event.
I also agree that December 1 should be the earliest date for festive songs in shops and December 10 an ideal time to start.
No other religion apart from Christianity has allowed its religious festivals to be commercialised, particularly Judaism.
Passover is a family celebration, not spoiled by self-indulgence, commercialism, debt, family tension and breakdown.
