Many years ago, I saw a fantastic magic show at the Brighton Hippodrome.

One of the acts was a Swedish professor who built a life-size robot which then knocked the professor's head off.

In later years, I saw the Tutankhamen exhibition, the Renoir paintings and many others, all remembered for their genius.

Now we have half a cow in formaldehyde, a woman's unmade bed, a Russian roulette trick and now a man in a glass case starving himself.

Why do people want to see these macabre things? I wonder if it will be human heads on poles outside the Tower of London next.

I'm sure your readers could nominate a few.
