Kwan Browne had a chilling message for the rest of National League division two after East Grinstead made it four wins out of four at the weekend.

Despite comfortable victories in their home double header against Leek on Saturday and Brooklands on Sunday the player coach believes the leaders are performing well below their best.

Browne said: "I feel sorry for the team we meet when we are on top form because we know we will score double figures against them.

"The good thing is that we are not playing at our best yet but we are still producing the goods so there is a lot of excitment about what we can achieve in the rest of the season."

Browne was on target in both games, opening the scoring after only six minutes in a 5-1 victory over Leek and sweeping home the second in a 2-0 win against Brooklands.

Paul Nixon did level the scores for Leek in the ninth minute but it was all East Grinstead after that as goals from Dominick Male and Ben Payne before the break and Mark Ansell and Duncan Howarth completed the rout.

Another big score looked on the cards on Sunday when Howarth gave East Grinstead the lead early on and Browne double the advantage from a penalty corner in the 22nd minute, but the visitors managed to frustrate the home side for the rest of the match.
