Was anyone else concerned by the letter from Jean Johnson from Barnsley regarding her friends, who have moved to City in the last few months (Letters, September 11)?
One would have thought the proper route for help from the social services was via the man's doctors whom he is registered with, who would have arranged for the social services to go and look at the problem.
Another question is were these people who seem so hard up and broke, wise to come to Brighton from Barnsley?
