As a parent, I have dreaded the thought of losing a child.
Hearing that Sara and Michael Payne have split because of the loss of Sarah is so tragic.
They have both, however, been blessed by a new arrival - a baby girl. She will not replace Sarah but she will bring more joy.
This little girl will also suffer the pain when she understands later on why her parents are not together in the way her friends' parents will be.
This then becomes another tragedy in itself. I wish the Payne family all the best and hope they can resolve their split.
