A ceremony attended by the chief constable and council dignitaries on the reopening of Peacehaven police station to full service was a bit of an overstatement.
The police station will be open four hours a day, five days a week. That's hardly full service warranting a ceremony - but a vast improvement on the current situation.
All we need now is some policepersons who can attend when called upon.
