Muttiah Muralitharan and Mushtaq Ahmed get the chance to pit their spin skills against each other at Hove tomorrow.

The third PCA Zone6 City Challenge takes place at the County Ground and for the first time the event has an international feel to it.

Muralitharan will represent Colombo in the eight-a-side event.

Former South African batsman Daryll Cullinan captains Cape Town, whose side will include Sussex off-spinner Mark Davis.

Chris Adams was due to skipper Brighton but has pulled out because of an elbow injury. His place is taken by former Zimbabwe star Andy Flower, who has Mushtaq in his side.

The action gets underway at 1pm with the final scheduled to take place at 9pm. Rules have been revised to ensure big-hitting action with parts of the boundary divided into zones where a four will score eight and a six scores 12. Tickets are on sale on the gate for £10 (£5 OAPs/under-16s).
