A primary school is set to get a new school hall despite concerns from local people.
Arun planners say they are ready to grant St Wilfrid's Primary School in Angmering planning permission following a site visit.
The council's development control meeting deferred making a decision last month.
Councillors will make a decision on Wednesday after hearing a report about the site visit.
School governors want to build a school hall along with store entrance foyer, toilets and kitchenette and car parking.
But residents had raised concerns about traffic problems in Arundel Road.
Among those who objected was The Angmering Society, which said the proposal could worsen the existing traffic and parking problems.
Members said the plans could also risk pedestrian safety.
