I am amazed Councillor Kevin Allen (Letters, August 1) believes that to recognise the existence of an indigenous British working class and to care about their continued victimisation means that one is a potential BNP voter.
He should go to a socialist summer school to get his facts straight and reconsider whether Labour is the party for him.
With such contempt for "the people of England, who haven't spoken yet", he seems to be a natural Conservative.
