In conjunction with the Pride festival, this is a striking collection by Fredericke de Jonge and Manel Ortega Santos.

The work of former Brighton resident and Dutch artist Fredericke celebrates icons of individuality.

For the past eight years she has snapped celebrities who belong to various subcultures.

"What I have found is they are all part of a unique family of individuals not understood by the masses for that reason," she says.

Fredericke is drawn to them by their artistry in creating different guises.

She says: "The characters they take on may defy gender but have very little to do with sexual preference. Our sexuality is only a small part of our personal make-up.

"I have documented this lifestyle in various ways, celebrating and applauding their beauty."

The show features legends such as Iggy Pop, Quentin Crisp in all his elegance, street performers from the Venice Carnival and drag queens.

Fredericke's work has plastered the pages of The Trannie Guide and Trans Gender Life.

Manel's exhibition of male nude photography pushes new boundaries.

Popular in his native Spain, Manel's work is provocative and guaranteed to create a stir.

His stunning, semi-erotic photographs capture the male nude in all its beauty.

He says: "My inspiration for these photographs is based on the anatomy of my model and on his fantastic knowledge of his shapes and muscles."

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 6pm.
