Soulshyne's summer party, the Stanton Warriors at Boutique and Hed Kandi are the places to be this weekend.

BOUTIQUE, Concorde 2, Madeira Drive, Brighton, July 25. The Stanton Warriors almost defy categorisation. It's easy to say Dominic B and Mark Yardley mix two-step, breakbeat and house but it's probably more accurate to say something along the lines of expect the unexpected.

This is tagged as a versus with Hyper (Bedrock Breaks) in the other corner but that usually just means a passing of musical batons. No matter - it should be good. It runs from 10pm to 4am. Admission is £9/10. Call 01273 772770.

HED KANDI, Honeyclub, King's Road Arches, Brighton, July 25. Without wishing to sound like a stuck record (every DJ's worst nightmare - that and been asked to play requests), this is one of the best nights out anywhere this summer. The likes of Stonebridge and Hatty Lovehearts keep the main room moving and shaking while local boy Johnny Nicely balances things out with classic hosue cuts in the back. It has been busy, the music has been fantastic, the atmosphere has been wonderful and there's no reason to suspect this is going to change any time soon. It runs from 10pm to 3am and costs £10.

SOULSHYNE, Babylon Lounge, Kingsway, Hove, July 27 Italian producers William "Harley" Cataldo and Flavio "Muscle" Romaniello are special guests at this year's Soulshyne summer party. The pair should deliver "deep, deep soul with a warm syncopated beat for the partygoer demanding more than your average club sounds."

Steve Hobbs, Bob Cosby, Gavin Page, Stewsta, Paul Sutton, Mick Fuller, Derek Jack and Stan will also be on hand for TEN hours. 2pm to midnight. It costs £9 on the door. Call 07968 806340
