West Sussex League: Middleton beat Three Bridges IV by nine runs in the only game to survive the rain in division one.
It was mainly down to Pat Woodward, who took 5-32 in his first bowl of the season.
Bridges made 130-9 in a rain-affected innings which caused the game to be reduced to 34 overs.
Three Bridges set about the chase confidently, making 55-1, before Woodward came in to take his first wicket in his first over.
Four more followed in quick succession, before Cliff Thomas (3-33) chipped in with three yorkers. Bruce Scott grabbed the final wicket for Middleton as the visitors were skittled for 121.
Middleton claimed 24 league points which elevates them to fourth in the table. Three Bridges IV gained ten points. Every other team were awarded 15 points.
