A stolen statue of Jesus has been discovered in a carrier bag on The Level after its theft was reported in The Argus.
It has now been returned to its home at Belmont Funeral Homes in Brighton.
God may have been on the side of funeral directors in returning the much-loved statue but it is the all-seeing CCTV camera that will help stop it being stolen again.
