East Sussex League: Ringmer booked their place in the semi-finals of the Golden Galleon Trophy with a home win over Crowborough.

Simon Pugh led them to victory with a stunning unbeaten 91 off just 56 balls to ease Ringmer to 187-5.

Chris Roxborough gave the visitors hope with 76 off 62 balls, but Murray Barnett (4-43) left them on 181 all out.

Superb bowling by Mevan Fernando helped Seaford to a home win over Chiddingly.

He claimed 6-11 in an impressive nine-over spell to leave the visitors 104 all out inside 30 overs.

Seaford struggled to 30 after 15 overs and five wickets then fell for just 20 runs. Twenty were needed from the last five overs with two wickets in hand but some solid blows by skipper John Smith and calculated strokes from Darren Moore ensured Seaford reached their target with an over to spare.

Crowhurst Park eased through their second round match against division two Hellingly, thanks to man-of-the-match Chris Philcox.

He took 2-23 and made an unbeaten 64 in a seven-wicket victory.

Glynde beat Herstmonceux at home to reach the last four. Glynde were restricted to 133-9 thanks to some impressive bowling by Dale Tranter, who picked up 2-8, while Adam Davies (2-24), Sam Adams (2-16) and Mark Beddis (2-37) also weighed in.

Herstmonceux were bowled all out for 105 with only Rob Mouland (19) troubling the home attack as McDonald took 5-3.
