Brighton Bears fans have been told not to travel to Sheffield tomorrow without tickets.

With just 25 seats allocated to the visitors, Bears will face a partisan atmosphere at Ponds Forge as Sheffield bid to clinch the title.

The match had sold out by early afternoon yesterday with some fans being told they would have to stand.

Clubs must admit up to 25 people named on the visiting team's guest list but are under no obligation to make any more seats available.

The first mumblings of discontent were being heard from Bears fans last night though brightonbears.com will have news of the game after teaming up with The Argus to ensure regular updates.

Bears must first beat Milton Keynes at the Triangle tonight (7pm).

The Harlem Globetrotters' visit to Brighton looks like being a sell out. Less then 500 tickets remain for the event on Friday, April 18. Tickets start at £17 and can be purchased via 0870 900 9100 or ticketmaster.co.uk
Organisers are confident of a good turnout as they debate the future of Sussex basketball.

The forum, to be held at the Triangle on Monday, April 14 (7pm), has been organised by former Bears star Steve Nelson, who is now Sussex Sport partnership manager, and Phil Waghorn, the Sussex development officer.

Clubs and leagues throughout the county are being urged to attend to try and hammer out a structure for developing the game at all levels.
