Burgess Hill are looking for a favour from East Preston who entertain Horsham YMCA tomorrow.
YM, who lie nine points adrift of the County League Division One leaders in second place, must win to keep the pressure up, a fact not lost on Hillians boss Danny Bloor.
He said: "If YM don't win at East Preston it means we will have to beat Whitehawk on Tuesday to win the league.
"It would be nice to do it at Leylands Park."
Hillians are hoping their ground will be passed by Dr Martens League inspectors early next week.
Meanwhile, Steve Barber has resigned as manager of County League division three side Upper Beeding because he was unhappy with a lack of progress at the club.
Vic Gretton has been placed in temporary charge for the rest of the season while Barber has joined Franklands Village as a player.
