The Chisinau National Opera moves along the South Coast to Hastings for a performance of Verdi's stunning opera Aida.
Set in Egypt of the Pharaohs, it tells the doomed love story of an Egyptian slave girl and warrior Radames.
Full of Verdian arias and marches, this is probably his best large-scale piece and this production is full of the symbolism of the period.
It is sung in Italian with English subtitles and comes from the same company that brings Carmen to Brighton on Sunday.
