New buildings in Worthing with architectural merit could be singled out for a prestigious award.
Worthing Borough Council is inviting nominations to be considered for its annual Distinction in Buildings Awards.
To be eligible, a building project must have been completed between April 1, 2001, and December 31, 2002, and be within the borough's boundary.
The categories are: Commercial and other uses, new residential development, residential extension, shopfronts, building restoration and access for disabled people.
Any organisation, society or individual may nominate a building for the award.
Winners will receive a cast metal, blue plaque to be displayed on the building. For a nomination form, ring 01903 221364.
