A man suffered serious facial injuries after what is believed to have been a homophobic attack in a pub.
The 44-year-old victim was attacked in the busy Grosvenor Arms public house in Western Street, Brighton, at about 5.30pm on Saturday.
The attacker was a black man, 30, with dreadlocks about two to four inches long.
He was about 6ft and muscular. He had been drinking in the pub and left soon after the incident.
