You really shouldn't publish such shocking stories as that about the serial burglar.

His incarceration in Lewes Prison seems so unfair. After all, he has only brought untold misery to probably dozens of householders.

He says : "They shouldn't put a rat in there." They did, though, didn't they?

His last prison sojourn was for four years - a hefty sentence by today's standards with the abundance of countless do-gooders putting two fingers up to law-abiding folk.

Cells were hot and stuffy. Oh, he can't take any more - he probably won't sleep well.

Cells smelling of urine and worse - perhaps he might consider working hard for a living and keeping out of such a place. But I doubt it.
