Brighton was home to the stars in the days of Lord Olivier, Dame Flora Robson and Dame Anna Neagle.
Now, only a pebble's throw from where many of these celebrities lived in Kemp Town, actress Cate Blanchett has moved in.
She has made a point of meeting neighbours and being friendly. Unlike Olivier and co, she is not lording it around Brighton and the nearest she came to a peer was in Lord of the Rings.
