The Lib-Dems' campaign in Central Hove, formerly Vallance ward, has already led
to confusion. For Jenny Langston-Barnard and her husband to try to hoodwink potential voters is not a good start for the self-styled "people's mayor" campaign.
Jenny knows full well that her friends, Jan Young and I, are standing as the Conservative candidates in Central Hove. The choice is, so far, between two Lib-Dems, two Labour and two Conservatives - that is the simple fact.
If the two of them really wish to serve this community, then play fair and stop these ridiculous claims of three Lib-Dems against three Labour.
Tried and tested politicians have obviously not worked in Brighton and Hove and, with so many long-standing councillors not standing in the May elections, now is the time for a change.
I find it sad that Paul Elgood, who I believe has been an honest and hard-working councillor, has allowed two of his team to resort to these shabby tactics.
