There is a TV ad for a magazine that insinuates people delivering Meals on Wheels would rather read it than deliver the meals on time.
This could not be further from the truth as absolutely nothing other than a dire emergency would prevent meals being delivered on time.
I know as an ex-WRVS Meals on Wheels deliverer.
