A man who shouted abuse at police officers after a Christmas party ended up under arrest.
Darren Eisnor, 29, of Parkview Close, Telscombe Cliffs, called officers scum and was arrested outside the Brighton Centre, Kings Road, on December 20.
The defendant admitted a charge of being drunk and disorderly when he appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court and was fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
He told the court: "I apologise. It was a Christmas party and I had a few drinks."
