A wildlife rescue organisation is appealing for landowners in Sussex to help find a new home for swans.
The East Sussex Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service (WRAS) has rescued seven swans during the Christmas period.
They are now asking for landowners who have a lake to provide a new home for the animals.
Most of the birds, which were picked up throughout the area, were taken to the National Swan Sanctuary in Egham, Surrey, where they will be allowed to recover before being returned to Sussex.
Among the rescued swans were a couple of juveniles who were picked up from Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, after being chased off by their parents.
On New Year's Eve, another was rescued in Chichester and taken to the sanctuary where it underwent an operation to remove a fishing hook and line from its throat.
A black swan had to be removed from Paradise Park in Newhaven when domestic swans began bullying it in a territorial dispute.
