Police escorted a coach of Albion fans out of Norwich after Saturday's FA Cup match was cancelled when the floodlights failed.
The Norwich and Albion third round FA Cup match was cancelled when the stadium's floodlights failed to come on after a 40-minute delay to the kick off.
More than 1,000 Albion fans had spent several hours travelling to the Norfolk city in poor weather to watch the game.
Officers from Norfolk Constabulary said there were pockets of trouble because of the fans' frustration but a senior officer said there were only a few arrests.
The trouble was mainly confined to the city's railway station and a coach of Albion fans was given a police escort from the city.
Inspector Glenn Scoular of Norfolk Constabulary in Norwich said: "There was a bit of violence in the city but no great numbers of arrests. I think there were frustrations that they weren't playing.
"There was a bit of a disturbance at the railway station but no more than that.
"We had a bit of aggravation from fans on one of the coaches so we escorted the coach out of the area."
The match will be replayed on Tuesday, January 14, at 7.45pm.
