G Konig asks why Hove residents are complacent about the most recent attempt to turn our seafront into another Benidorm, with an 18-storey block of flats on the Medina House site.
I think the answer is, yet again, people have not been told.
Unless you are in the habit of reading lamp-posts, I suspect very few people know about this plan.
I am not aware of it being mentioned in The Argus previously and I am a daily reader.
It was Private Eye that coined the Benidorm comparison, in its column Rotten Boroughs.
Brighton and Hove City Council has the dubious accolade of having appeared in it twice, both times regarding plans for the King Alfred.
Please, let's have a fair and factual account of this latest proposal and what the council plans to do about it.
