Ryman League Division One title hopefuls Lewes are hoping to tie up two new signings before tomorrow's FA Trophy game with Slough Town.

Former St Leonards striker Dominic Barclay is expected to complete his prolonged move from Erith and Belvedere, while manager Jimmy Quinn is also signing defender Tony Chin from Dulwich Hamlet.

Moves for Hendon striker Warren Barton and former Hastings defender Matt Ball have been put on hold due to injuries, while Quinn has not followed up a seven-day approach for Worthing striker Ben Carrington.

Another well-known defender could be signing next week and Lewes remain interested in Eastbourne Borough striker Matt Allen.

Ross Venables is out of the tomorrow's match with an ankle problem, while Graham Harper (hamstring) and Lee Newman (knee) are both doubts.

Slough include experienced former Reading and Wolves winger Michael Gilkes.
