Horsham midfielder Steve Payne has spent the week in hospital after being taken ill after his side's FA Cup exit.

Payne, who was substituted in monday's replay with Team Bath, is suffering from a blood disorder.

He has been told to rest and misses the FA Trophy tie at home to Ashford Town tomorrow.

Boss John Maggs said: "We are quite concerned about him. He wasn't feeling well on Monday and we had to take him off or he would have collapsed."

Lee Carney has a thigh strain and is doubtful for tomorrow's tie but Maggs may resume his interest in former Crawley defender Matt Otley, currently with Sutton.

Groundsman Eddie Broadbent is on stand by to keep goal for Bognor against Boreham Wood in the absence of Craig Stoner, who has a broken arm.

Broadbent used to keep goal for Petersfield and was once signed for Horsham by Peter Evans.

Pat Lawrence of Shoreham is also a contender for the No.1 shirt.

Striker Lee Stevens goes straight into the squad after moving from Pagham.

Meanwhile, Worthing boss Barry Lloyd has admitted he has lost Lee Weston and Peter Brackley because the club could not afford to keep them.

The two wideman re-signed at Woodside Road last month.

Rebels are in great form away from home and will hope to continue that by beating Cambridge City at Woodside.

Lloyd added: "We need to be as committed as we have been in our away games. That has been the key."

Matt Crabb is Eastbourne Borough's only doubt for the home tie with Hertford Town of Ryman League Division One North.
