Two Sussex police officers are flying to Bali to help families of those caught up in the terrorist bombing.
Detective Constable Vicky Denman, based in Hastings, was expected to leave last night and remain on the Indonesian island for several days.
A second Hastings detective, still to be selected, was expected to join her on Monday.
A police spokeswoman said: "They and other British officers will be helping liaise between the families and the authorities.
"They will be helping with practical matters and offering moral support."
DC Denman, in her 20s and single, has been with the police service for more than six years.
She and the second officer are specially-trained in family liaison.
