Worthing Thunder will again be without Nick O'Harabe because of a knee injury as they prepare for a weekend double header in the National Trophy.

Gary Smith's outfit put their five match unbeaten record on the line at Sutton tomorrow (7.45pm) before entertaining old rivals Solent at Worthing Leisure Centre on Sunday (4pm).

The absence of three key players proved costly as Bognor Pirates went down 93-77 to Tamar Valley Cannons in National League Division Two South.

Gareth Skyrme's wedding also meant Pirates were without best man Yaz El Hakiam and usher James Cato and an understrength Bognor side were always behind, trailing 45-39 at half-time.

Coach Dave Goss said: "I was pleased with our effort and commitment but our usual mean defence let us down which was definitely caused by tiredness from only having a small squad available."

Dave Turner (17) and Paul Sparrowhawk (10) top scored for the visitors.
