Only the massively likeable Mark Little could get away with a show called The What F****** Show.

Hugely improvisational and fired by emotional rocket power, Little ranted, raved and had us reeling with his hilarious and insightful observations.

He asked how little kids get to run around with FCUK on their T-shirts yet his show got the asterix treatment? His theory about "King Cnut" sailed even closer to the shores of censorship.

The great thing about his show is it had significance for both performer and audience.

Mark was one of few local comedians performing at the Paramount Comedy Festival and much of his material related to home turf.

Norman Cook received a verbal slapping for making Brighton beach a little too cutting edge and new entertainments magazine This Is Brighton got a cheeky mention too.

Anarchic at heart, Little wasn't afraid to fight the Power. He almost obsessively criticised Fatboy Slim and delivered subtle digs at Paramount.

After a lengthy show, he made us stand up and start clapping as his DJ, The Gay Hooligan, blasted out Queens Of The Stone Age's incredible new track No One Knows.

We walked away buzzing, liberated by laughter, questioning our global awareness and with a mental note to buy the new Queens Of The Stone Age CD.
