If Brighton and Hove City Council opened more places such as Craven Vale Hospice, our NHS Trust would be one of the best in the country.

Staff are "carers" in the true sense of the word, day and night.

Nothing is a bother and nursing is looked after by "intermediate nurses" from Queen's Park.

They are professionals through and through and never grumble, however many times they have to come. They are like the old Queen's Nurses.

There is a hairdresser, chiropodist and manicurist available and a little shop.

The four of us in my section are so grateful for all the staff do and, as a halfway house, it is perfect. One can stay six weeks, then they can assess with their physiotherapists what is best for your future.

My grateful thanks. When I return to my flat soon, I know I will be able to cope alone.

I would have been kept in hospital after a bad fall but came here the day after and am well on the way to recovery thanks to the care I have received.
