Albion boss Martin Hinshelwood is looking forward to a match-free fortnight to concentrate on putting things right.

The Seagulls trip to Nottingham Forest on October 12 has been postponed due to international call-ups for three Forest players which has enforced a welcome break for Hinshelwood's embattled side.

"The break might give us a chance to get everybody fit and perhaps work on things," Hinshelwood said.

"There is no reserve game either, so we could really have a solid week together.

"Possibly at the end of it we will try to arrange something so that one or two that haven't been playing, like Paul Kitson, get a game."

Kitson is creeping closer to recovering from the disc-related back problem which has restricted him to four appearances so far.

The former West Ham front man saw a specialist on Wednesday and is on course to resume training on Monday.

Albion face Sheffield United at Withdean in two weeks times, hopefully with Zamora, Barrett and Kitson playing together for the first time.

"It's been massively frustrating for myself and the rest of the team that everyone hasn't been fit," Zamora said.

"When they are I am quite sure things will turn."
