A man appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court accused of 30 offences of downloading child porn from the internet.
Matthew Hobday, 40, a father-of-one, of Golf Drive, Brighton, is alleged to have committed the offences between March 1 and 28 this year.
The case was adjourned until October 25.
He was bailed on condition he makes no contact with prosecution witnesses and reports to police weekly.
