Has listed building consent been obtained for the "piercings" in Brighton's Fabrica Gallery (a listed church), the Museum and the Town Hall (October 2)?
Has council taxpayers' money been used for this nonsense?
A better use for our money to improve the appearance of the city would be a pavement washer, as used in Continental towns and cities and a few English ones as well.
Look at the pavements around street seats. They are sordid, greasy and littered with dog-ends.
In Italy, the bus shelters are washed frequently, too. Ours would benefit from the same treatment.
