At a general-knowledge quiz I participated in, the following question was asked: Who was Clint Eastwood's famous father?

The answer, Stan Laurel, of Laurel and Hardy fame. Gordon Dean, is this true? If so, perhaps Clint should have said, in the words of Oliver Hardy, "That's another fine mess you've got me into" and not "Make my day", as in one of his most famous cop films.

And perhaps Tony Blair should say that to President Bush: "That's another fine mess you've got me into."
