A 71-year-old man has been arrested in Hastings by detectives investigating the murder of a shopkeeper 26 years ago.
The pensioner was arrested following a reconstruction on the BBC's Crimewatch UK show last week.
He was yesterday taken to a south London police station in connection with the murder of newsagent Geoffrey Small in Sutton, south London, on September 6 1976.
Mr Small was killed by a man who broke into a flat at the back of his newsagent's.
The killer waited until Mr Small arrived at 5.30am and shot him twice in the head, then once in the back of the head as he lay on the ground.
