Police have released CCTV footage in connection with an attack at a railway station which left a man with a broken jaw.
A 49-year-old man was punched in the face three times and has had two metal plates inserted into his jaw following the assault at Worthing station.
The victim had walked to the station with his wife after a night out when a man asked him for money.
When he refused the man followed and punched him to the floor in the subway.
The victim and his wife walked to their platform but saw the offender on a platform opposite.
He then ran across the tracks and punched the victim in the face twice, breaking his jaw in two places.
The incident happened at 11.20pm on August 17.
The offender is described as white, 5ft 11in, aged 20 to 25. He was stocky, with a round face and short dark hair.
