A young boy was injured after being involved in a collision with a bus.
The youngster, who had been crossing Fort Road, Newhaven, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, following the accident today at 7.40am.
He was not thought to be seriously injured.
The bus was operated by the Metro bus company, based in Lewes.
Police sealed off a section of Fort Road outside the offices of Lewes District Council for two hours while a police accident investigation team surveyed the crash scene.
